On 22nd January, we welcomed President Cynthia Teniente-Matson, from Texas A&M University, San Antonio, President Matson and President Takahashi met to discuss women's leadership and careers, with Professor Kagawa from Nishikyushu University and Professor Sasaki from the University of Electro-Communications.They discussed ways on how to increase the number of female university presidents, and how women can develop their careers, from both American and Japanese perspectives.

Afterwards, President Matson joined the farewell party for international students. She had a pleasant talk with students and made an inspiring speech to encourage their future careers.
