私の研究
My research focuses on ICT (Information Communication Technologies), media communication, and social psychology. In particular, on how media information affects our behaviours in times of crises. It began in 2012, when I came to Japan to conduct my doctoral research on the roles and effects of ICT and mass media in the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake. My current research project is to investigate the impacts of SNS and Internet media on social stability, especially on the rise of fake news and post-truth politics.
