台風第14号の接近による授業等の措置について
Information on Classes (Measures Related to Typhoon No. 14)

本日9月20日（火）の授業は、通常通り実施します。
Today's classes will be held as usual.

台風第14号の接近に伴い、気象庁より以下の地域にすべての特別警報、暴風警報、暴風雪警報、大雪警報のいずれかの気象警報が発表された場合、履修要覧記載の「気象警報発表の場合の休講措置」に従い、9月20日（火）の授業等は次の措置を取ります。

小平キャンパス　　　東京都全域または、多摩北部全域または小平市
千駄ヶ谷キャンパス　　　東京都全域または、東京都２３区西部全域または渋谷区

小平キャンパス
1）午前6時までに気象警報が解除された場合は、通常授業を実施する。
2）午前6時現在気象警報が発令中で、午前10時までに解除された場合は、午前休講となる。
3）午前10時を過ぎても気象警報が解除されない場合は、1日休講となる。

千駄ヶ谷キャンパス
1）、2）までは小平キャンパスに同じ
3）午前10時を過ぎても気象警報が解除されない場合は、3、4時限目も休講となり、5時限目から通常授業を実施する。
4)午後0時（正午）を過ぎても解除されない場合は、１日休講となる。
※文学研究科英語教育研究コースにおいては、午後5時を過ぎても解除されない場合、7時限目も休講となります。

気象警報が授業開始後に発表された場合、原則として、その時限の授業は平常どおり実施し、次の時限以降の授業は上記 2）以降に準じます。
なお、警報が解除されても交通機関に大幅な乱れが生じている場合は、状況により休講措置を取ることがあります。

Typhoon No. 14 is approaching the Tokyo area. Please read the following information, which explains the criteria for deciding whether or not Tsuda University will cancel classes on September 20 (Tuesday).

Kodaira Campus: Please refer to (1), (2), and (3).
Sendagaya Campus: Please refer to (1), (2), (3) and (4).

(1) Morning Classes
If all the following warnings* have been lifted by 6 a.m., morning in the area where your campus is located, morning classes will be held as usual.

(2) Morning Classes
If any of the following warnings* are in effect for Tokyo Chiho area, Tama Hokubu(the North area of Tama), or Kodaira-shi area: Kodaira Campus/Tokyo Chiho area, 23-Ku( the West area of the 23 wards) , or Shibuya-ku area: Sendagaya Campus  as of 6:00 a.m. on September 19(Monday), then Tsuda University will cancel morning classes (periods 1&2). If morning classes are canceled, a notification will be posted on the official Tsuda University website at 6:00 a.m. (Posting of the notification may be slightly delayed depending on conditions.)

(3) Afternoon Classes
If any of the following warnings* are in effect as of 10:00 a.m. on September 19(Monday), then Tsuda University will cancel afternoon classes (periods 3-5) for Kodaira Campus and will cancel the period 3 and 4 for Sendagaya Campus but the period 5 will be held as usual for Sendagaya Campus. If afternoon classes are canceled, a notification will be posted on the official Tsuda University website at 10:00 a.m. (Posting of the notification may be slightly delayed depending on conditions.)

(4) Afternoon Classes
If any of the following warnings* are in effect as of 12:00 p.m. on September 19(Monday), then Tsuda University will cancel all afternoon classes for Sendagaya Campus including period 5 classes.

*The relevant warnings are all Emergency Warnings, "Storm Warning", "Snow Storm Warning" and "Heavy Snow Warning". Warnings appear in purple or red on the Japan Meteorological Agency web page listed below.

※ In the English Education Studies course under the Graduate Program in English Language & Literature, classes in Period 7 are canceled when a warning is still in force past 5 p.m.

If a weather warning as described above is issued after classes commence for the day, classes already in progress will, in principle, continue, but from the next period the provisions set out in (2) and (3) above will apply for Kodaira Campus. For Sendagaya Campus, provisions (2), (3) and (4) above will apply.
If transportation remains widely disrupted after a warning is lifted, classes may be cancelled depending on the prevailing conditions.
